Everleigh Anderson is your typical dedicated student. With an amazing hidden talent that she doesn't know her self yet until a boy named Jonah Peters comes into her life. Could this new talent ruin the career that she wanted all her life?
"Hello welcome to McDonald's may I take your order?"
"Hello I would like a Happy meal with apples please."
"For your drink?"
" I'd like apple juice please."
"Anything else?"
"No thanks."
"That'll be $3.40, you may pay at the first window."
I drive up to the first window and see a boy about my age just staring at me. I begin to take my cash out and I decide to have exact change just because.
"Your beautiful." He blurts out.
"Uhh okay imma get my food now." I say awkwardly not knowing how to take a compliment from a boy.
I drive up to the second window.
"Weren't you just over there?" I asked confused. Did he run over here?
"Yeah, but your just so beautiful I want to know your name."
"Uhh.." I pause. "It's Everleigh."
"A beautiful girl with a beautiful name." He says.
"Can I get my food now?" I asked trying not to be mean honestly he's really sweet.
He hands me my food.
"Wait before you go I wanna tell you that you can come tomorrow in the afternoon and I'll be here and we can talk." He says with an expression on his face that makes him look cute.
"I don't know I'm pretty busy and your a complete stranger." I say truthfully.
"My name is Jonah, so now I'm not a complete stranger to you." Jonah says with the same expression.
*Honk Honk*
"Please come tomorrow, I beg you. Your just so beautiful I want to get to know you." Jonah says.
I just sit there and look at him as he begins to walk away. Next thing I know is I'm knocking on the window. He immediately turns around runs to the window and slides it open.
"Uhh.." I began to say but nothing comes out "Can I get.."

I start to walk away before being grabbed by someone only to turn around and come face to face with the bartender. "Oh shit." I heard Cavin whisper. This is going to be fun. "Can I help you?" I ask, pushing his hand away. I see Cory and Cavin both stand up, ready to help me if needed, but I shake my head, signaling that I've got this. "I've been making passes at you all night just for you to ignore me like an ungreatful bitch." he says spitting slightly on my face I see my boys looking deadly but Ionly smirk at them which they return. "The only ungreatful bitch I see is you if a girl ignores your passes it means she's noy intrested so go back to your bar like a good little boy you are." "What do you want?" I snap, slamming my locker shut. His casual smirk, messy dark hair, tan skin, strong arms, eerie storm-grey eyes... the list could go on of things I notice- that I shouldn't notice- about him. "Oh, I want a lot of things." He inspects a speck of dirt on his arm. "I'm sure you've heard the news?" His eyes flicker back up to meet mine. Does he know? No. He can't. So I roll my eyes. He can't know that I know, that I would do anything to be the first one he tells. "You'll have to be more specific." I mutter, trying to look casual as I inspect my nails. "Well, it involves a certain title of the swim team," He offers. I shrug. "So you got captain. That's cool. And what do I have to do with that?" He narrows his eyes, trying to read my expression. Unfortunately for him, I have mastered the art of hiding my emotions. "This is what I wanted to talk to you about. During English," He fiddles with his sweater sleeve. "I recall you trying to talk to me," I frown. "Well, I..." He swallows, seeming... nervous? "I'm not doing too great... subject wise. And if I don't pick up my ass soon, I might be forced to quit." He rubbed the back of his neck, making his shirtsleeve slide up his arm to reveal a strong bicep. Not that I notice. I narrow my eyes. "And what do I get back in return?" I cross my arms. I'm going to be late for the bus if we don't hurry. He studies my face. "Name your price." He mirrored my position. I sigh. Money... but I don't need it. Popularity... but I don't want it. I meet his gaze steadily. He lifts his chin, the tiniest bit, but it doesn't intimidate me. I square my shoulders and stand up straight. He's only just taller than me. An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. The girl who prefers reading fictional books in her room every night rather than being out partying like her two Best friends. She prefers to listen to bands than listen to crappy music by Justin Bieber. She's the girl who would rather watch YouTubers all day rather than be out shopping with her friends. And she would like to keep it that way. It's Reed's last year of high school or in her words her last year of hell. Nobody really noticed her, well, except for her two best friends and boyfriend and she is planning on keeping it that way. But then her new neighbor A.K.A Mr. Bad Boy sees her dancing in her room butt naked. That's not even the worst part, the worst part is that he actually "recorded" everything. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!?
