Sari: a girl living in a world that seems normal and practically perfect to her. Only wondering about a boy that she talks to but can't actually talk to. The professor says not to worry, not to wonder, not to question.

Jace: a boy living in a world that seems suffocating and cruel. Why don't people care what happened to her? Why do they tell him to give up because they know better and he is just in denial. He worries, he wonders, and he constantly questions.
