Unleashing phoenix

"I know you want me" his husky voice whispered in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. His fingers ghost up my bare arm leaving a trail on fire in their path.

"What makes you say that?" I breathed, clutching the dagger tighter in my hand, not daring to move my gaze away from the target dummy in front of me.

Pressing his body into my back, I swallowed a gasp, not wanting him to see the effect he has on me.

"Because everyone wants me" he chuckled, moving away .

Glancing over my shoulder, I watched, as he stands beside the twins. With his arms crossed over his broad chest he smirks, sending me a wink.

Arrogant arsehole

Turning back around and in one quick Move I stepped forwards throwing the dagger towards the target. Smiling as it embedded itself right into the dummy's chest, right where the heart would be.

"Damn girl" Seth whistled, looking at me like he can't quite believe what I did really happen.

"You're sure as heck ain't the girl we used to know two years ago. What happened?" Silas asked, jogging past me to inspect my work.

Shrugging, I risked a glance at the arrogant arsehole. A mixture of amusement and pride masking his face.

"Death happened" I whispered, staring him right in the eye.
