"You are an insane sick bastard. Did you know that?" I said matter of factly.

"If i got a dollar for every time I've been told that, I'd be richer than Bill Gates now" he answered amusedly.

Oh, this loser.

You are supposed to be angry, not find a joke to pass my insult with.

"I know what you are doing Rocky. You are trying to push me away. Why? I don't know. But you best try harder than that if you are to push me away because I'm here to stay. I don't know what scarred you this bad but we can fix it. Together! We could learn the baby steps of trust together. I'm not going anywhere Rocky" Blue said as he looked into my eyes.

No, no, no Blue. How am I supposed to hate you when you speak like this?. You were not meant to like me or even look my way.

I bit my lip as i reddened from the embarrassment that he'd caught on to my plan. I need him to hate me but he isn't giving in. This is going to be harder than I thought.

I looked up to try again but I saw him just a second before he leaned in and kissed me. Yes, he kissed me. I didn't kiss him back, I was just in shock.

He pulled away and I saw tenderness in his eyes as he said "Perfect"

"This should be assault. You just assaulted me right there"

"I... Am here to see you.", I told him as I placed my hands around his neck. I could feel my heart beat getting faster but I had to keep it strong if I had to survive this scenario. "What?", Brandon asked completely startled. I leaned in more closer to him. The only good thing in this entire scene was that he wasn't pushing me back due to my creepy behaviour. "Oh... Bran, I was missing you so much, I just... I needed to see you.", I said as I came up with lie. "Are you drunk?", Brandon asked as he leaned in closer trying to smell my mouth. Thank God Fel had given me her mint gum only moments before I went commando and came inside the locker room. "What?", I scoffed still standing extremely close to Brandon. "I just.... I was missing your gorgeous face.", I told another lie. But wait? His face is gorgeous so that isn't a lie. And was I not missing seeing him? I noticed Brandon who just had his eyes popped out of his socket with bewilderment at my words. I decided to peck him on the cheek before I storm out of the locker room. I leaned ahead to peck Brandon who moved his face in my direction and instead of his cheeks, our lips crashed. Brushing against each other, our lips touched. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. "I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. Synopsis "Hey, I want you to write a couple of essays for my project. How much is your pay?" I blinked twice to be sure that the almighty rude Shanelle is right in front of me asking for my help. "Hmm, but you don't look like you want to get it done" I smirked as I look up to see her scan the cafe with her beautiful blue eyes, just like her brother's. "Bitch don't try to feel important, I'm only doing you a favour here so cut to the chase and state your price, we both know you need the money desperately" Shanelle replied. What she said got to me but I wouldn't let her see that, because I truly need the money to support my sick dad. I just smiled and say "what's it about?" "I'll text you my address, come over to my place tonight and we can talk it over in my room, no one is allowed to know that you're helping me" Shanelle said quite bossy. I scoffed and say "Do you find me that intimidating?" "You wish" she said and walked away. Does that mean I get to see Romans, I mind screamed. "Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. That's not how the real world works, sweetheart. I may look like a damsel, but I'm never in distress. ... Not me making fun of the "she's not like every other girl" trope <3 o.o :)) I like to think I'm funny. After all: #3 in amusement 10/22/22 #1 in banter 10/31/22 #3 in friendship 11/7/22
