Just as I opened my mouth to speak a loud bang happened. Suddenly I was thrown forward my head slamming against the incubator. Then I went flying into the wall behind me, the metal wall filled with emergency medical devices. A sickening thud was heard and I could feel blood pouring down my neck. 

The ambulance lurched to the side and I flew backwards, the last thing I could remember was the feeling of glass cutting into my skin.

And then there was silence.
