Richard McCarty, an aging gunman, and Pete Hastings, a young naive man longing for adventure and fame, venture out to find a gang of vicious outlaws in the winter of 1850. Alone, with the snow building up and a storm on the horizon, paranoia, guilt and terror bring forth one man's deepest fears during his descent into hell and the cold, brutal wilderness. Inspired heavily by Jack London's story To Build A Fire, this is a western story steeped in gothic horror reminiscent of Poe and King that is sure to satisfy fans of western, horror, or adventure stories.
