Luna Moore has always been the odd girl of the school. She always dresses in black, she is called a bad influence, and everyone is scared of her by false rumors.

Ever since she was young, she never had any friends and all the weight of her constant bullying by one specific girl is breaking her slowly. She thinks she has no purpose in this life, that's she not worth it and she believes it since no one is there to tell her otherwise.

This leads her to have many problems in her health like depression and, because she says she is not perfect on outside, she later passes through anorexia.

She has all her feelings kept bottled up as she wants no one to get hurt including her sister, Isabelle Moore, and her best friend, Charlotte Brown. She believes she is not worthy of being worried for.

But, the only thing that's keeps her life going is her father's legacy, photography. She has always admired the magical effects that a camera can provide and sneaks away just to take the perfect picture. She channels her emotions into her pictures, making it slightly easier.

Then, the new kid called Shawn Mendes, changes Luna's ways of living. He is trying to find out what lies underneath and during the process, they go on many adventures and get to know each other more.

She doesn't have all the time in the world to pass with him since the school's bad boy, called Spencer, has been hitting on her since last year.

Both boys have a long way to go to reach her heart since with everything that has happened, she has lifted high walls around her heart and doesn't believe in love.
