I looked down at the beautiful little angel in my arms as I let the tears fall down my tan face. My other half was dead. I tried to keep my sobs at bay as I didn't want to wake the sleeping angel. This did no good as I let a few slip out waking my poor daughter. She started to cry as well but her being so young she didn't produce tears. my heart broke to see her upset. I slowly rocked her back and fourth singing to her in Spanish. Her cries dulled as she slowly fell back asleep. I sat down in one of the hall chairs to see a doctor walk towards a pale mans with black hair that was sitting a few seats down from me. I had to strain my ears to hear but I heard every word. "I'm so sorry Mr. Kogane but your wife has died from blood loss. Would you like to see you three beautiful babies?" The doctor said grimly. "Maybe in a bit" said 'Mr. kogane' with his voice cracking. The doctor nodded and left the man. 'Mr. Kogane' crumpled to his knees and started sobbing and crying. This woke the baby in my arms but she didn't cry she just looked at me seemingly knowing what was going on.
A/N this is a story about how two souls meet after the death out their wife on the same week and how they fall in love.

She ended up with a very light skin tone, due to a strange Altean occurrence. When no Altean father is present, the child takes the skin tone of the closest Altean male. Since that was Coran, Isla ended up with lighter skin, but Lance and Allura had no problems with it. Some time after Allura had passed away, Lance and Keith realized they had feelings for each other. They soon adopted a daughter named Abbey. Abbey had been through a lot regarding families, so she wasn't fond of siblings. Soon enough though, her and Isla became great friends. Even though Pidge had no children, all the kids thought of her as the cool aunt. They were all friends, and hung out quite often. This is the story of the Voltron Descendants. (This is a story me and my friends are writing. The new characters are OC's of ours, and we wanted to do something with them. In this universe, Allura made it past the final battle, but passed away when Isla was young.
