People always question death. Does it hurt? Is there life after death? Heaven? Or Hell? God or the devil? I like to think of it a little bit differently. I respect your opinions. Just wanted to share mine with you. Maybe I can help you see things with a brighter light. Maybe this is just an ordinary fantasy story for you.
I am sorry if there are mistakes in this story. I am writing it quite late and spontaneously- please don't judge. :)

Oh no, not one of these stories again where someone angelic and heroic saves the damsel in distress. If only I was that lucky. My heart stopped beating. The beginning of that description was slightly exaggerated. The Angel of Death. One of the only creatures known that was capable of settling the boundaries of heaven on earth. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him. I want to die. No, not that, I want to feel the sensation of death. I want to know what it's like for after death. I've always been intrigued by it ever since I was five. I watched a movie where a kid can see dead people and the person helping him is already gone. Is that's what's it's like? Do you not know if you're dead or not? My best friend Marnie committed suicide last week and today was her funeral. As I am sad, I'm also jealous. She knows what it's like to be dead, she can answer all of our questions, yet she can't because she is gone forever. Does it hurt more after the death, or does the death hurt the most and it's all rainbows and butterflies after. I'm not depressed, nor am I suicidal. I don't think I've ever been, I thought I was just thinking like everyone else does. Marnie told me I go too deep, she said as deep as an ocean and I've tried to swim to the bottom. Humanity have always questioned their mortality. The world; riddled with disease and crime, each day gifted with a sense of dread. "I'm getting older." Humans have evolved, fought wars, overcome the impossible and survived as a species, until now. Now that they question death and what comes after. Among the humans are a group of people, hiding in plain sight. Those that inexplicably are able to connect with their souls on an entirely different level to most. They have no name, hidden purely by disbelief, in a society that doubts those that are different. How do you name something that you refuse to acknowledge exists? The Misvan Gatu is an underground government controlled by an unknown force. It is their mission to find a cure for the death of a soul, not caring who they may destroy in the process. Misguided and twisted by an evil unknown they are driven by the need to know more about the afterlife. Breaking down barriers and finding answers to questions best left unasked. If the soul could be transferred then that human life could continue, couldn't it? And if there was a way of stopping death and harnessing the power of the human soul what else could we accomplish?
