Cassandra Gaviria just moved to Mystic Falls with her recently divorced father, leaving her mother and her two sisters back in her hometown bogota, Colombia.
She meets Klaus, Kol and Elijah through her best friend Rebekah at a family dinner one night.
Elijah is fascinated by her and they instantly get very close (only as friends). Whereas Kol and Klaus saw her as a challenge since Cassy was flirt-proof, due to her various experience with fuckboys and their tricks. To say that she's used to boys hitting on her, would be an understatement.
