Aria lives in the maidenhouse, as she has all her life. She dresses modestly, reads morality stories, and prays to Lady Mariya, Protectress of Women. When she flowers, she will be married off to a man she's never met (not that she's ever met one in her life) and live in Loving Union with him, tending to his every need with grace and gentleness.

And of course, if she doesn't want to be married, she can go to the altar as sacrifice. It would be an honorable choice to make, even more honorable than being the perfect wife.

But lately, Aria has been plagued with nightmares. Nightmares of being torn apart from within, in a dreadful perversion of Loving Union.

Her three best friends, Nimuë, Mati, and Anu, don't trust the maidenhouse system. Could Aria's dreams be prophetic? 

But even if they are, what can four little girls possibly do?

Originally, she believes herself to be human until an accident occurs, and she finds herself to be woken up in the middle of what she thought to be some sort of cosplay festival. Oddly enough, these strange creatures weren't human, which she quickly realized after being attacked and nearly killed. Now she's got to learn how to survive in this new, scary environment where everyone's out for her demise. I've learned a lot of the parts in this book relate to real-life events, places in the present, and the past. You'll see a lot of connections between actual human historical events and the goings on in this book. The main character is, above all, head strong and bold. She's unafraid of the social normal and any punishments that come when defying them. ----- My original caption for the story: I had a dream, and it was kinda awesome and slightly romantic. I'll try my best to write down what I remember.

Sakura is a young woman who has a normal life but she starts to have some strange dreams. Besides, she is not aware but at night she has some unwelcome visits and after all that she meets a handsome and mysterious man who will change her life forever. DISCLAIMER: Maybe or maybe not i am a little influenced by Neil Gaiman's Sandman, but i am trying to stay true to the Ovid's Morpheus. But for me Neil's dark Sandman is how i see Sasuke's Morpheus. But the rest of the story is all mine. Plus the cover of Sasuke Shinden novel made me do it. It gives me such Sandman vibes, but in this illustration Sasuke is younger. In my story and my mind is adult Sasuke. TRIGGER WARNINGS: First of all i want you all to check the tags that i tried to put because i want to make clear that this story will have some brush strokes of Dark Romance, so there won't be very healthy behaviour from Sasuke towards Sakura (at some points). I am new writting this kind of stories so maybe is not very DARKDARK. Also, i want to make clear that there is no rape and non-concent sex, but it is mentioned and insinuated, but there is no rape. Only mentioned and attempt to. Also will be descriptions of torture eventually, PTSD and suicide. Reader discretion is advised.
