Dan Howell is what most would consider an 'emo'. He doesn't have many friends because he simply doesn't want to get hurt or manipulated. He is practically invisible at school,and it doesn't help that he wears dark clothes too. People say that he's just a freak...an outcast, but they don't know. Because they don't care to listen. No one does. Everyone believes he's just a dipshit, everyone except Phil Lester.

Phil Lester is a different story. He has many friends, he makes everyone happy. He wears bright colors all the time. He stands out of a crowd. His most striking feature are his eyes, the pools of blue and green with golden specs swimming delicately throughout them. Those eyes are very curious, and one day he finds himself going through the app store. while scrolling he then ventures on to an app called 'talk to me' or TTM for short.
