Farah Mueller has lived an average life up until now. She hasn't experienced anything extraordinary, fantastical or out-of-this-world. She has read her literature, she has studied biology, and she has enjoyed a life of normalcy and peace.

This all comes to an abrupt halt when she receives the news of her parents' deaths.

Suddenly, she's thrown into a new universe: she has to become the parent that her little brother needs, to get through school with an average that will get her into Harvard, to deal with her own grief...

All while battling her feelings for two different boys- both of whom make her heart flutter in different ways.
