The year is 2099, and about 60% of the population has inhumanly powers. These manifest after a traumatic moment in their life. James is a 17 year old boy who has transferred to a new high school. Here the school is dedicated to helping people without powers, by telling them how to stay safe around these powered people. The only thing is...is that James has powers. As he keeps it on the down low as hard as he can, he makes friends and struggles through the grade to make it to next year. But he can't keep his true self hidden forever....All Rights Reserved

Defending Jefferson City and maintaining a normal school life as a cover can be hard, but throw in his best friend getting closer to the truth about his alter-ego's identity and a mysterious villain working from the shadows who always seems to be two steps ahead, living a double life is going to be his biggest challenge yet. Especially when new villains start crawling out of the woodwork, thirsty for a fight, and his old villains return stronger, angrier, and looking to settle a score. As Emerson starts to uncover the truth behind where all these villains are coming from, he finds that not everything is what it seems on the surface. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes.
