Five college students from across the states are brought together to become Ruin Runners. All of them have a unique power: Alchemy, mind-bending, phoenix physiology, prophecy, and "electi", latin for "chosen one". Their powers were bestowed upon them by the archangels to prevent the overtaking of the apocalyptic, biblical Four Horseman, who each bring to the earth a plague, drawing the end of the world nearer.  Guided by angels and a supernatural hunter, the five must look within ruins to find secrets placed by the archangels on how to defeat the Four Horseman upon their arrival.
