Five college students from across the states are brought together to become Ruin Runners. All of them have a unique power: Alchemy, mind-bending, phoenix physiology, prophecy, and "electi", latin for "chosen one". Their powers were bestowed upon them by the archangels to prevent the overtaking of the apocalyptic, biblical Four Horseman, who each bring to the earth a plague, drawing the end of the world nearer.
