In a dystopian society, criminals are presented with the options to live or to die. Most of them choose the latter, but Patient 1359 chose to live. The criminals who do this are reclassified as Rogue Soliders: merciless warriors and human weapons with no recollection of their names, families, or lives. 

Patient 1359 is presented with a chance for freedom. She will work at the GSIC - Global Spy Intelligence Confederation - with the rookie group known as Seventeen in return for her being reintroduced into society. When her path crosses with the mysterious Wen Junhui's, she finds herself at the center of a battle for the underground, and a strange romance.

Caught in the crossfire of loyalty and treachery, duty and freedom, she's desperate to uncover the secrets of her past and for one reason only: there is something about her that others would kill and have killed for.
