After their daughter, Alice Cooper, wakes up in an emergency room from another attempt of suicide, James and Morgan Cooper decide it would be best to put her in the more professional hands of the Green Hills Mental Institution, until she was healthier.
   The Coopers are unsure about how long the journey to recover will be, but the adventure will sure be strange as Alice meets new and unique people along the way.
