Flawed Minds
Mistreated from a young age and sent away in her teens by her parents, she all but disappeared off the face of the Earth. Years of abuse from her new 'guardians' almost drove her mad- until at 22 she was taken by Hydra and spent the next year the subject of inhumane experiments, causing her to release her powers. She made her escape, and the Avengers discovered her collapsed in the snow after the Hydra base exploded. The team were faced with a difficult choice to make in order to save her life. Will she be able to open up and start again? Will she be able to accept her reality? I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school. There were three tanks behind them, ready to fire at any moment. We all looked at eachother before charging forward. I used the gun that hydra equipped me with to kill them. Bucky used a pistol he took from the Avengers tower, and Tony had his suit. Within the first five minutes, we had disposed of dozens of hydra agents.
