Jade, a mermaid with a bright green tail and eyes, is abused and neglected by her parents. The twins, Delta and Leta, bully the girl constantly. Jade's only comfort is the presence of her only friend Chloe, but when Chloe joins her bullies in her daily torment it pushes Jade over the edge and she leaves her birth city of Marina and heads to the capitol city of the mer-kingdom, Oceana. Along the way she will meet a cocky arrogant merman named Seraphin, but is there more to this merman than meets the eye?
