After fourteen long years of building up a career, a wealthy boyfriend, Mark, and with a private education under her belt, Gabriella inherits her grandparents' dusty, old farm and returns with the intention of selling it and getting the hell out of that country hovel as fast as possible.

But then she runs into Nick, the handsome, straight-talking country boy she left behind all those years ago, who seems determined to remind her of what she is missing. With his twinkling eyes, muscled physique and constant joking, he is as far from Mark a man can be. And he didn't seem to forget her.

But she chose Mark for a reason. She loves him. She's not the nine year old girl that used to dream about marrying Nick.

So why can't she stop thinking about the country boy she left behind?
