Sasuke was there, right next to her. He finally decided to show up after such a long time but it didn't make her happy, not in the slightest. "So, are you never going to answer my question?" She spat bitterly. She licked her lips, tasting her salty tears. She has waited for him for more than two weeks. She has been mentally begging him to appear out of nowhere everyday, to just show up. She has been staying each night at the bridge, searching for a sign, but it never came.
Sasuke never came.
And now he was here, yet he still remains silent. He was contemplating whether he should tell her the truth or not. He warned her about this. He knew that they shouldn't be attached to each other like this. Sakura didn't listen while he selfishly enjoyed the company of someone that he knew he didn't deserve.
Sasuke swallowed the lump in his throat as he took off his jacket. He placed it over her head as he grasped the courage not to let his voice break when he said the next words:
"Goodbye," And with that, he walked away from her for the last time.

Sakura's POV I walked straight to the north side of the fountain. Tears flooded my emerald eyes, as it streamed down my face. Hopelessly wishing on the fountain, holding a penny. Sasuke's POV I was at the south part of the wishing fountain on our neighborhood park. I felt guilty, anger, pity and confusion. I should've been there for her. I messed up, a lot. This is the only thing left I could think about doing. ~~~ "I wish she would come back." Sasuke threw a penny, as a teardrop fell from his face, regretting what he had done. ... Behind those cold and distance onyx eyes, she saw his guilt and pain. And she simply soothed his pain away. As if it was as simple as breathing. And appreciate what he had at this moment. He found himself starting over, Becoming a person he wanted to be instead of being someone the world forced him to be. He found his black and white world became a colorful landscape. Smiles adorned his once tightly sealed lips. And the emptiness was replaced with joy. He came to appreciate the sunny mornings in winter and a cold iced tea in summer. The moment when he stopped letting the world to change him, the world changed into a better one for him.

Her hips swayed as she made her way to his bed. Sasuke couldn't help but lick his lips. He pulled off his shirt and threw it across the room. Sasuke rushed over to Hinata's side, admiring her voluptuous figure. He really was in love with his future wife. He began to place kisses across her jaw, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Life is an odd creature. Sometimes the expected turns out to be unexpected, and other times it's the other way around. When you add two time travelers from the future, a former avenger, and a princess of compassion, playing with timelines might turn perilous.
