In a world where Mothers don't live long enough to raise their children, Saraphina is the only exception to this rule.
Her father accepts Ten million pounds to give his only daughter up for the 'greater good' of humanity. Suddenly Sara finds herself locked and sealed away in an ice pod for ten years to 'protect' her from the outside.

Awaking from her Ten year slumber Sara must not only adjust to a new era, new school but to be under the constant scrutiny of her brothers and the Gentlemen's board of science. If that wasn't enough Saraphina finds herself at risk of becoming Justice's plaything.

What's a girl to do when she's constantly 'the bug under the microscope'?
