It is now the 76th Hunger Games, and Prim is even more nervous than ever! This year if she gets picked, the two victors from the previous years- Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mallark, aren't even allowed to volunteer. They are just mentors. This little plot twist is in Prim's point of view, read to find out what happens!

In a dystopian future, the totalitarian nation of Panem is divided into 12 districts and the Capitol. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, rutal retribution for a past rebellion, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch. Katniss Everdeen is married to Peeta Melllark the love of her life and are back in district twelve. Coin kept the games and Prim is still dead. Mrs. Everdeen lives in katniss's old victor home and is a grandmother to twins. Diana Mellark and Finnick Mellark. Gale lives in district two with his own family. Haymitch is a grandfather because he married Katniss's mom after all they went through. Katniss and Peeta's kids are very different. Diana is like Katniss and has her skills with a bow and arrow and hunting. She has her father's talent with a sword, painting, and baking. Finnick on the other hand is like his aunt Prim and grandmother. He likes to take care of people. The story starts with Diana as a seventeen-year-old on the day of the reaping of the 99th hunger games. The Mellarks have a track record for being in love with their district partner. Will it happen again with one of their kids. Also Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch don't have to be mentors. I don't own the characters of the original hunger games.
