  Respectable stories are born in a writer's cunning mind. Their less esteemed cousins are perceived in a heightened state of said writer's consciousness. And some downright impudent stories develop in the dark and murky depths of the multiverse. There, they dwell until an opportunity arises to pop over into our world, usually in the most unexpected time and place. 
  These are the tales that write themselves-between the lines.

At this rate, it might just be Unreal Engine 22 by the time I get anything done...for now, here are episodes from random, unpublished stories. The picture is Diplomat Dashing, an Elshar diplomat, saying, "Oh, no! Am I missing a pin? Habis maif!" His sash is purple because he doesn't know how to prog his clothing former. Advisors in Sigan Mas, a school that's a galaxy, stay up late at night to figure out errors the producers of Danger Service can stick in an episode for diplomatic students to find. For example, barren Elshar Mashai, capital world of the Alliance, is a treeless, sandy world but for a tiny region of farms. Episodes will show Georgia red mud, rain, and pine trees. Or items made of wood, which is very rare on Elshar worlds!
