Adelia is a simple girl living in Ravenglass, England. Adelia raised a child all on her own after the one she thought dh loved left her pregnant and alone. But she never really loved him at all.

After meeting a mysterious man in a trench coat, who tells her if she doesn't fall in love with someone within the next month, she and her family will die. She realized it was the curse her great great grandmother was put under and decided to flee.
