This is a story about a small town girl who has a pretty normal life. Normal friends, goes to a big high school. Homecoming queen, is dating the most popular guy in school.
Yeah, just kidding. My life is quite the opposite actually. My normal is being alone, relying on myself and myself alone. And I prefer it that way. Needless to say, life has dumped a big pile of fuck you on my situation. Dead parents, rejected by my family, don't get me started on the foster care system. I guess life needed some time off from raining on my paraid. I was finally at peace. Got a job, an apartment, I even graduated high school with a 3.0 GPA. With Christmas right around the corner, Danny thinks it's a good idea for me to come to his Christmas party he throws every year. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea, or so I thought.

Scarlet just wants to be left alone and finish high school as she moved away from her home. People at her old school saw her as odd and she only had two best friends that were left back in London when she moved. She is forced into a new school being the new girl and hating the people in the school. Everybody seemed to enjoy drama and teasing the new girl relentlessly but she knows how to stand up for herself and she can be more dangerous than they think. Some trauma from home is found and in danger of being told, things that she doesn't really want people to know. You'd think getting through high school would be easy. A certain bad boy who happens to be her neighbor takes a keen interest in her. She's never liked anyone and has had no real interest in any relationship, only her studies that kept her busy. He's smart but acts like he's the greatest and he tries to impress her but she can hardly be impressed by things she can do. Distractions around every corner with the bad boy and the popular mean girl group that doesn't approve of the bad boys attention on her.Terminé

"You are kidding me, right?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. "Do I seem like I am kidding?" "No, you don't. But I also don't feel that I will listen to you." I said, giving him my infamous innocent smile Me!!! Clean his shoes?!! Who in the hell does he think he is?!! "You will. These shoes are limited edition pieces of one of the world's most expensive brands. Being the gentleman I am, I am not making you buy me a new one. I need you to clean it. Simple." "Do I look like I care? Oh..Look..my cup of care is empty." I said, motioning to the now empty coffee cup in my hands. He looked at me, then to my hands. Slowly, he nodded his head in understanding. Next thing I know, I am drenched in water, and he is closing the water bottle in his hands. I looked at him with my mouth agape. "You're right. I can see your cup of care is empty, but, seems like it is brimming with arrogance." With that, he walked away while I stood there thinking of a thousand torturous ways to kill him. Fantastic!! FORMERLY KNOW AS MY GREEN-EYED JERK. Anxiety disorders accompanied by a heavy load of sacarsm isn't the best combination for a girl like Samantha who is currently trying to escape her past and finish highschool unscathed (if that's even possible). After the unfortunate and quite life scarring event that occurred in her former town, the least thing Sam wants is any form of drama. But once again her bad luck strikes and drama comes knocking on her front door. Ryder or Jayden as he demanded to be called after his sixteenth birthday surely has a reason for that. Sometimes, It's inexplicable how he can go from being hot enough to burn you to being cold enough to freeze you. With a secret so deep and dark it's enough to destroy him, Jayden can't help but find refuge in his two-sided life. When Sam and Ryder meet due to certain unforeseen circumstances, Sam has a hard time figuring him out(not that she wanted to either, her situation just demanded it).
