Emilia Red and Ryder Adams are best friends.

Or were.

From the time they knew each other since the 7th grade, they were inseparable. Emilia, having a passion for writing at a young age, wrote in her journal everyday since a month before meeting Ryder. She wrote avid details about every encounter and adventure that they had together. It wasn't until The summer before their junior year, Emilia learned that she is moving away, leaving all the memories and treasures behind. Including Ryder. To make sure he never forgets her, Emilia gave him her journals. Promising him to pick up where she left off when they meet again.

Fast forward almost three years, Ryder is ready to start college. Hearing little to nothing from Emilia since two years ago, he's ready to move on and get a fresh start. But he is thrown back into a spiral when he learns that Emilia not only goes to the same college,

But she doesn't remember him. Or anything for that matter.

Now determined more than ever to help Emilia recover her memories, with the help of her journals, she is trying little by little to regain her past. While little by little he's falling in love with her all over again.

(BWWM) EDITING "That cannot happen again." Sunny spoke breaking the silence between us. We must have been sitting in my car for a solid five minutes without saying a word to each other. "Why?" I said I not bothering to look at her. I kept my eyes forward. "Because it's not appropriate." She was stern in the way she was speaking but I could catch the slight uncertainty in her tone. I decided to mess around with her until she finally breaks and confessed how she really feel. "Did you forget you kissed me back." I turned my neck to look at her. She bit her lip and looked down. "Yes, I know and I shouldn't have done that." "Why? Isn't that what you wanted to do." I smirked making sure to watch her every movement. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Sunny Rose is a 21 year old college student. They've been best friends since birth. Now they're basically living together, falling in love, and calling each other names like it's foreplay. Leah Rhodes has always had a plan: keep her head down, survive her senior year, and try not to think about the boy she's been in love with since before she even knew what that meant. Nash Gentry has never had a plan-except making sure Leah always has a place to land. Even if that means watching her fall for someone else. Even if that means pretending he's not completely, obsessively in love with her. But when jealousy, heartbreak, and one impulsive kiss shatter the boundary between best friends and something more, they'll have to decide if love is worth the risk of losing everything they've ever known. Because they've always belonged to each other. Even if neither of them knew it yet.
