During a party 2 years ago, a fight breaks out between the police and Derek's family. Many lives were lost, including Derek's father, mother, and older brother, and his brothers' fiancée. During the fight Derek gets injured, he runs off and hides in a shed. Thinking he's gonna die from his injuries.
In walks Sarah, she lives with her father who was in and out of jail when she was a kid. Ever since her mother died she has lived with her father. She has scars that no one sees, no one questions what happens in the house.

One day, when Sarah's father comes home drunk she goes into the shed in her backyard, because he won't find her, when she opens the door she finds a man that is injured, she helps him until he is healed. When the police come to arrest her father she goes to check on the man after the police leave. When she looks inside she realizes that he's gone, all that's left is a necklace that he must have dropped.
