Toby Nelson was that one guy in the back of your math class that you knew was smart but you didn't pay attention to. He is also that one guy that gets pushed into the lockers by the football jerks that everyone laughs at. 
He is also friends with a lot of the hot girls at school... oh I'm sorry, FRIENDZONED by a lot of the hot girls at school.
The only way for him to cope over his friendship position with his major crush Jessica, was to write a book about it.
To be specific, a Guide.
All he wants is to get out of that twilight zone.
