In 2037, in the middle of nowhere, lies a newly built testing lab, owned by the government. The government is unfortunately corrupted, and has led the whole country into disaster. People are starving, and the whole economy is falling apart. Since the government needs a new way to get out of this terrible situation, they are finding new ways to make money. Fortunately for them, science has blessed them with a new discovery- a new blood type. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. Unfortunately, your attempt has failed, and you are now trapped in a cell waiting for testing. You are their newest subject, subject number 43.

Better sleep promotes a peaceful lifestyle and improved health. At least this is what the MMC have the population believing. There are those for whom this technology fails to work: Dreamers. They're shunned because of their inability to adapt and evolve like the rest of the human race. Amelia is a Dreamer, and the veil of ignorance is lifted when she meets someone who helps her see through the lies and secrets of the MMC. With her world shaken and changed, Amelia has to decide whether to fight for the freedom to dream or take the 'next step in evolution' with the rest of society at the risk of losing her ability to think and dream for herself.

Disclaimer: this story depicts bullying and abuse that I (a then 13 year old) was unbeknownst to exaggerated and socialized ignorance. I very much don't agree with some decisions to move the plot forward though the story isn't all that. For young women reading, the treatment and abuse of some of these characters is absolutely unacceptable and be aware of that. This is just a trigger warning.

After that first day of school they start to notice that she's different then she looks to be but will she show her true self or stay the shy naive girl people think she is. What happens when she finally has enough of being the shy, depressed, guilt filled, daydreamer girl that she changed herself into. What happens when she has to transfer to the same school as her best friend Jacob who's in the same friend group as the schools "bad" boy who's also dating the worst bully she's ever had. Like a sunflower will she blossom to her full beauty or will she stay in her shell read to find out. Possible abuse, smut, drugs, self harm, sexual assault, smoking, cursing, dirty but not nude pictures and more. I tried to put ⚠️ emoji on any chapter containing self harm, smut, abuse, sexual assault, etc. Would not recommend unless 18+ years old and not sensitive to sensitive content. It is the year 2023, a new technology has been developed where citizens can make their eye color change according to their mood, and everyone is desperate for a change, five years earlier, a chemical storm destroyed everything in its path leaving a once beautiful city in ruins, and draining everyone of their eye color, leaving eyes a dull, lifeless grey with no shine or sparkle. this is supposed to be a horror story. it's fake don't worry. about a girl whose an emo teenager. who always has her electronics with her and was put into this world where dinosaurs are back to life. And More zombie like than anything else.

Maddie's life gets turned upside down when her father gets murdered by a gang leader and she gets kidnapped. After the police save her, she gets placed in a safe house with three boys. How will this end? Will she survive living with three boys for over a year? (Short Chapters)
