Every one is born with a special ability, something that sets you apart as Unique. For Annabel, she can read people's mind. What sets her as Unique is that she can live inside a serial killer's fantasy. Not your average Unique. Pretty and tall, she's destined to fall. Annabel and her twin brother Dorian are entered in an academy for people like them, for the Unique. Unique Academy only accepts the gifted and talented, so it should be a safe place for Annabel, right?

What Annabel doesn't know, will hurt Annabel. There's a serial killer on the loose, and this killer is obsessed with Annabel. One by one each of her friends fall down like dominoes, and poor Annabel has to figure out who's been stalking and murdering her friends and family.
In a school of freaks, who could be the killer? Is it her twin Dorian? Or her grandfather who's come back to finish off his family? Is it one of her friends pretending to be a victim? Or perhaps the boy she's in love with him.
