For those of you who read we can be mended and didn't like it, and all of you who read Allegient and agree that Tris shouldn't have died.
 After being cornered by David, the guards came in before he could kill her.But she was sentenced to death by David(who had inoculated himself against the serum)and his superiors, for setting off the memory serum that erased everyone in bureau's memory. But she convinced them that she was valuable to them, that they needed her. Chicago was coming apart and now that all the memory serum was gone there was no other choice for them but to give up on it. She was immune to all serums and her genes were more than healed, they could be installed into genetically damaged volunteers for them to start a new genetic healing experiment somewhere else. David and the others fake her death pretending that she was killed by the bullet he shot, and she moves across the country  to a place called Los Angeles where they start the experiments,with Matthew. There she plans her escape secretly and succeeds and goes to find Tobias.
