500 years ago the land of Achridis burned with the fires of a war, a struggle against the God of Death and a mysterious new plague known only as the Taint, a sickness that infected the dead and turned them against the living. Under the lead of the Red Knight, the nations united and began the uprising against this threat. In what would have been the final struggle, the heroic Red Knight was slain by the right-hand of the Death God himself. Achridis was left ravaged by the Resurrected Army under the command of the Tainted King. Generations later in the 500-year-war, a tavern boy known as Cecil became the Hero reincarnated. Armed with the memories of the Red Knight and the remnants of a once-iconic red sword, he must rise from the ashes to pull together the war-stricken nations, and perhaps defeat his mortal foe. Will Cecil be able to once again unite the nations of Achridis with the help of his followers, or will the vast network of corruption tear it all apart and leave the land under the rule of the Tainted King?All Rights Reserved
