When Dead Rise

In the 2000's there was a seemingly irrational fear implanted in the minds of the teenage population. A fear of the dead coming to life and destroying life as they knew it. They had plans and were preparing for the apocalypse, but by 2020 the trend of the apocalypse had died out and life went on like it had before. That is until 2079 almost 60 after the horrible idea was put to rest when science takes a turn for the worst and the dead start to rise and the world is turned one big into a war zone, the living against the dead.

17 year old Gabriella Hopkins is one of the few survivors along with her 4 younger siblings and her 80 year old great-grandma, Maria, who has been preparing for the zombie apocalypse her whole life. The only thing keeping them alive was Maria's planning for this epidemic and a tricked out R.V as they ride North from South Carolina to Canada where Maria has been creating the ultimate safe house for over 40 years. But what happens when they meet unexpected obstacles and find another group of survivors? Will they make it out of the apocalypse alive or will they fail and become the undead.
