Sealed with kiss

Thud, thud, thud.

That was the only sound I heard, apart from my laboured breathing. His footstep coming closer and closer. I was cramped into my wardrobe and for one of the first times in my life, I was thankful of my petite frame.

I heard my bedroom door open and his footstep slowed at my bed, probably looking to see if was stupid enough to hide under my bed.

'Sweetheart, I know you're in here so there's no point hiding. I'll find you soon.' His smooth voice said.

My fingers tightened around the metal baseball bat in my hand and I was almost sure he could hear my heart, which was quickening at the second.

Thud, thud, thud.

His footsteps were coming towards my wardrobe. One of the doors next to me opened and I sucked my breath to make sure he wouldn't hear that. I heard him looking through all of my clothes to see if I was somehow hiding between them.

'I can feel your fear.'

Thud. A step closer.

'I can smell it'

Thud. Another step.

'Soon I'll hear you whimper.'

Thud. It'll be ok he's only messing with your mind, I tried reassuring myself. He opened the door on the other side of me.

People will alway judge you, if they know the truth or if they don't.
They will bully you and say things until you actually believe them.

Everyone thinks Beth is weak and insecure, but they were wrong. Beth is now stronger than she's ever been.

She also has hundreds of secrets. She writes every secret on a piece of paper and puts it in an envelope.
She seals them all with a kiss.

This is one of the first books that I've actually got a good plot for and want to carry on writing.
There will be slow updates because I have other things to do as well. So I will update in my own time. It might sound harsh but I'm writing because I enjoy it.
