Then one day, some soldiers turn up in a shopping center where she's staying for the night. They take her to a place where more teenagers live. It's nothing like a home. There, they have to train, though nobody knows what for. When Lorelai decides not to do what she's being told and take things in her own hands, she doesn't know what awaits her. As she tries to escape the people trying to use her-and many others-for their plans, for the first time, she gets the chance to find out what happened to this destroyed and abandoned world-and maybe also about her past. English isn't my first language, so I'd be happy to receive some criticism and also tips. I'd like to know if my story is interesting, so I know if I should go on and how to improve it :) I know, my writing isn't so good in the beginning, but I think it gets better throughout the story.

"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. "What do you want from me?" I reply, "I am looking for some people so I can bring them back to our village." This is not a lie. "What village are you from?" She questions. "Just a village." Then the girl turns on me and somehow pins me on to the ground. She says, "You're one of them aren't you. You know nothing about this kingdom. What are you a morphling or a fusion?" I am shocked. How did this girl figure me out? Was it that obvious?

When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to?
