She was trapped in a tower, her only friends were the sun and the wind as it grazed her finger tips when she reached for tomorrow. As the sun kissed the ground and the moon blessed the sky, she waited for her knight to come and set her free. So she could touch the ground for the first time and love her rescuer endlessly.
But as time grew on and there she sat gazing longingly at the horizon, her knight never came.
But he did.
He appeared in the mirror, his eyes twinkling in innocent curiosity and wonder.
