This is a story about a young Shadowhunter called Josie, living in the Berlin Institute her whole life with no parents has led to questions about who they are, where are they and why they left her. But with a possible Parabatai ceremony, a new arrival and a dangerous demon on the loose, will she have time to find out?

The story takes place in an imagined academy, mentioned in the TMI books by Cassie. Since I love academies I had to write about a story happening here. But the story also sets in various places over the world and reunites some familiar places from the TMI books with new impressions.
