Emerald was a wild dragon, born in a cave on a mountain in the Beor Mountains. Having no information on the world other than his own experiences, he doesn't know about the war or Galbatorix. However, when the the Urgal Army detours from attacking the Varden to capture him, he is sucked into something that he never knew existed... nor knew was so close the whole time...

In the time Eragon has been absent from Alagaësia, the riders have fallen to vices. Hiding her identity is almost impossible, and once they get her to the slave market, she would be trapped forever, and her true identity discovered.
