Valentina Jones has rented her own apartment to live away from her abusive and alcoholic father, to get rid of a terrible past she had when she was younger. Most secrets, Valentina has kept to herself though. Nobody but her best friend knows about them. Now though Valentina's life is turned upside down again when she gets stuck with no other then Blake Emerson: neighborhood bad boy, heartbreaker, and all around jerk who has his own secrets.
