In the future, the world we know is left tarnished in warfare. Countries are nothing more than a history lesson, and the cities that once thrived are left abandoned and to be reclaimed by nature. Humans are being attacked by aliens- known as Titans -and killed off slowly in an act of mass annihilation.
Genevieve was just the middle child. Loved by her parents and by her siblings, taught how to fly with an old crop duster by her pilot father. Her only worries were how to get Julian and his best friend to stop bullying her, and to get her little sister to stop following her every move. Until her father, who goes off of to fight once again, doesn't return. And her older brother goes off to finish his father's fight, also doesn't return. Leaving her to provide for her terminally ill mother and kid-sister alone.
