My name is Cassie Sullivan I just turned eighteen. If you're reading this there's a chance I'm still alive. Just under 26 weeks ago The Others invaded earth. 25 weeks ago, they released the 'First Wave' an electromagnetic pulse that temporarily destroyed all power. Cars, and other means of transportation were also shut off. Strange objects, and hovercraft fell from the skies. 23 weeks ago, they released the 'Second Wave' They manipulated the Earth's Fault Lines, causing tsunamis, and a huge earthquake. The millions of people living on the Coasts were shown no mercy, perishing into the earths. 21 weeks ago, The Third wave hit. The others released avian flu, using birds as Carriers. It killed millions of people including my mother, Lisa Anne Sullivan. 19 weeks ago, What remained of my family, took off and found a camp of almost 300 survivors living as refugees. 18 weeks ago, an army unit, with working vehicles came rolling into the camp. Their commander, Vosch. Claimed the children weren't safe, and took them to Wright Patterson Air Force. I watched from a tree as they massacred every single adult, including my father. They took my brother, Sam. 14 weeks ago, I began traveling to the Patterson base. Armed with only M4 carbon. I awoke after being shot, in a strange cabin. My caretaker, Evan Walker 9 weeks ago, Evan, began teaching me how to fight. 7 weeks ago, Evan reveals himself to be a sleeper agent to the others. I somehow turned on his humanity. He proved his loyalty, by blowing up the base and helping me rescue Sam. 6 weeks ago my newfound friends and I found an abandoned compound where we settled in and began training for a war we can only expect to come 5 weeks ago, I find myself Pregnant. 2 days ago, while wondering around looking for survivors. I find Evan is alive, and enduring torture from a clan of German speaking alien hunters. Today, I set off to rescue Evan, with or without the help of my friends.

When the Cat's Away, the Mice Will Play. Except in my case, the "cat" is a wolf... and the "mouse" is me. Bianca Ashford, just your average human. But as for playing? Yeah, not happening. I'm not in the mood for fun. My return to California is a total disaster. It's like my karma tanked the second I crossed paths with those damn werewolves-one catastrophe after another, no break in sight. The people I love keep walking out of my life, and my world turns into a twisted grab bag of surprises. Spoiler alert: they all suck. Betrayals, shocking truths, attempted murder-take your pick. But the real kicker? My "forced vacation" in Oregon left me with way more than just trauma. And meanwhile, back in the neighboring state, an entire pack is probably hunting me down. Because while I'm doing everything I can to put this nightmare behind me, they sure as hell aren't forgetting me-or the bond that ties us together. For Hunter, their bossy Alpha, I'm not just some random human. I mean a whole lot more. And he has no intention of letting me vanish. With his blood brothers at his side, he's ready to do whatever it takes to track me down and, more importantly, protect what's his. Their instincts are sharper than ever, but their patience is running out fast. The wolves are closing in, my secrets are piling up, and I'm fresh out of escape routes. When my situation spirals out of control, I'm faced with an impossible choice. Can I make it out of this, or will the endless curveballs finally take me down? And more importantly... how long can I keep running? One thing's for sure: this game is far from over.
