This story is about a Teen-ager named Shay. Shay Lives with her older brother, Angelo, and little sister, Bri. Her mom walked out on them when Shay was 14, and she never knew her dad. Shay does not know what to do with her life at this point. She takes school as a joke and treats everything, including the most serious things, as a joke. However, her little sister wants to become more than her mother is and what she predicts her brother and sister will become. There is not much to say about her brother. He wasn't doing good before or after their mom left. But, their big brother has been doing whatever he could to save money for the day their mother left to go to "work" and never returned. Never even once called to check on them.
