Werebeings are humanoids that can turn into different animals, most common are predatory mammals such as wolves and big cats. They are used as slaves, gambling pieces, but the usual place they're found is in fighting rings. Werebeings called 'fighters' are bred specifically for fighting against one another until one of them is dead. Adrian is the best fighter for the largest ring owner in the state of Colorado. Only sixteen and already a Class One fighter. Cody, an ex-fighter, runs with a group of werebeings that had relatives taken from them for the rings. His group has pledged to release all fighters from their rings, and their next target is Adrian's ring.
