Suddenly, his beloved city of London has gone to war, leaving his family vulnerable to the enemies. He is sent off to war, and made to fight in the ghastly, dirt-ridden trenches. His only dream is to see his Mama again, even for just a few minutes. The young man's fate will all be decided soon.
