(This is a whole part of the first chapter)
"When I think of me, I think of a tree, but, that tree has no branches or leaves. Leaving it at just a tall pole or stick. I say that because, I don't know anyone in my family. So there my 'tree' stands, empty, bare, dead... not even a tree if you ask me, just a sad, unwanted tree who's family abandoned him for his bare and ugly looks, so there he stands, just a stick of large wood in the ground. The tree doesn't have any friends either. The children who play in the park pass by him and climb on the trees with branches, leaves, fruit, and shade. four things he could not provide. People in the park didn't give up on him, stuck in belief that one day he would be beautiful, and would blossom better than all the other trees, grow the sweetest of fruits, shade one hundred people on the hottest day.
That tree is my heart.
When I was living with my grandparents, there was this man who was robbing the house. They must have not known I was there because they never found me. Only my grandparents when they left with what they came for, a man showed up and told me to trust him. So I did. He took me to his home he said his name is Dark and that he has brothers and that the one he lives with is named Mark. They are both nice I love living here although, some of his brothers don't like that he took me in.
