Martin Luther King's dream has turned into a nightmare.
Abraham Lincoln's fight has gone to waste.
    Equality became a utopia.
Peace is now a Christmas wish.
Hell opened its gates to spread its hate on Earth.

In a world in which White people live in the North and People of Colour are stuck in the South, groups of rebels are rising everywhere.
Southern people have the opportunity to live in the North at one condition, they have to submit to their White Masters and give up on their freedoms and rights.
Some people, just like Violet and her friends, refuse to submit and create groups of rebels.
They fight for peace and equality. They fight for freedom.
Their plan was going quite well: Violet have been given an undercover mission.
She has to become the maid of one of the most powerful White Men in the country, which means: living in the South and submitting, but it would only be temporary.
At least it should have been.
It is crazy how love can ruin everything.
It is crazy how falling can be so easy.
It is crazy how the forbidden can be so attractive.
It is crazy how unpredictable life can be.

Will Violet and her friends manage to reach their goals? Will they find peace? What is going to happen between Violet and her temporary White Master?

There is only one way to find out.

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." When I'm asked about it, I often describe it as "X-Men meets The Walking Dead." In addition to reading it here for free, you can buy Exile in e-book or paperback on Amazon.com.

Kira Villarreal was just a regular seventeen-year-old, living an ordinary life in a sleepy town-until the night that shattered everything. What was supposed to be a fun party with her three best friends quickly descends into chaos when gunshots ring out, and in the middle of the panic, something unimaginable happens. As a bullet hurtles toward her friend, time slows, and with a surge of raw power, Kira stops the shot in midair. That night, Kira and her friends' lives change forever. They soon discover they're far from normal teenagers. Each of them harbors a unique, untapped power, and together, they're something far more significant-the "Keys," beings destined to unlock the gateway between the human and magical realms. But with great power comes even greater danger. Hunted by ancient enemies, rogue sorcerers, and forces that want to use-or destroy-them, Kira and her friends are thrust into a world of magic and peril, where every choice they make could tip the balance of two worlds. As they grow into their powers, they must learn to trust each other and face challenges that will test their bond, their courage, and their very identities. Each revelation uncovers a new layer of the mystery behind their existence, but the deeper they go, the darker it gets. Old loyalties are questioned, secrets are unearthed, and sacrifices will have to be made. Can Kira keep her friends-and herself-alive as the weight of saving both worlds falls on their shoulders? Or will the darkness close in, forcing them to choose between survival and their humanity? With action, unexpected humor, and devastating twists at every turn, this is Kira's journey, where magic, danger, and friendship collide in ways no one saw coming.
