To be deceived or lead on by someone on any social network, or chat session who's claiming to be someone or something they're not and tries anything to make you believe them with words that might interest you. While they're just sitting behind whatever devices they're using and their true identity is being concealed while giving you false information about themselves.

Some of the worst things happen mentally, and physically. When it comes time to show our emotions we can't because we worry people will think about us. Some guys are smooth, unreadable-dangerous in a way that makes your pulse do things it shouldn't. But hey, who doesn't have a little emotional damage these days? Then the weird stuff starts. The calls. The messages. The undeniable feeling that someone's watching you. Totally normal, right? (Wrong.) Because when your psycho ex, slithers back into the picture, things go from maybe I need help to okay, I'm definitely about to get murdered. The worst part? My Stolen Identity (Complete)
I never thought something like this would ever happen to me, because things like this only happened on TV, not in real life and especially not to me. Unfortunately I was wrong. Someone stole my identity. They took pictures from my Facebook account and created a fake online profile to catfish men and scam them out of a lot of money, and now I was being sued for $45,000. That's why I teamed up with Knox Hendrix, a ridiculously hot cyber detective who pledged to help me track down this catfish and put a stop to what she was doing. I tried to stay focused on the case, but the more time I spent with Knox the more complicated things became between us and our growing friendship, because I wanted more. Over time I found out that there was a lot more to Knox than I originally thought and he had a dark past and wounds that needed time to heal, but I knew I could help him with that if he would only stop trying to be the tough cop and open up and let someone in. I wanted to help him but I didn't know if I could ever be satisfied with just being his friend when I wanted so much more. I soon discovered that finding the catfish and solving the case would put my life and Knox's in danger and sometimes there are cases that are better left unsolved.Complete
Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING...
