Heart of Steal

Zhoe Devereaux, 18, is now attending a big league university, known as Calasmount University, in hopes of working in the medical field. Her big league school was only possible because of the full ride scholarship offered to her for academics. Bright, witty, and a girl who looks at life through a somewhat annoying positive manner, Zhoe always does the best of her ability.

Zhoe's life had not always been positive though. With the abruptness of her parents divorce and her father leaving little Zhoe at a fairly young age to fend for her mother, Astrid, and her younger sister, Mia, Zhoe has seen quite a bit. Poverty, struggle, and the importance of providing for a family, which fuels her strive to work hard.

With her best friend, Zahlia, by her side through it all, Zhoe's life is filled with love, happiness, and the reality of life and it's hard comings. Zhoe never felt as if she needed a man to be happy.

Zhoe had had flings and was not much of an outcast, but she chose to remain single throughout her life because her ambitions came first, that is until she met the man that would change her perspective entirely. Love and the trials of life can be accomplished hand in hand. And this is proven when a man steals a heart that was not meant to be stolen.
