I thought poems were boring back then, but I grew up and realised that reality sucks. I always find the solitude in reading poems and knowing that I am not the only person in this universe thats experiencing the bittersweet moments in life.
I am merely an introvert expressing herself in poems. I am glad that you came across this book and I hope you give it a shot.

Poems of Pain and Solitude
For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. Life experiences
I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama.
